Here is Patrick driving in the middle of a downpour!  Arrow indicates our position on the screen!  Thanks to Samantha Lawrence for the use of this picture! Here is one of 2 confirmed tornado's this day in Guymon, OK.  This one was video captured by Bob Eaton.  No one knew for sure it touched down until he went back to look at his video tape!  Nice grab Bob!! Here I am trying to explain storms to the Indigo film crew.  They were with us on this tour, and their footage became the TV show Tornado Alley USA which aired on the Travel Channel in 2007!  Thanks to Samantha Lawernce for the picture!

Patrick Martin took this picture.  He and I drove van 2 for Silver Lining Tours in 2007.  Great storm structure!! Baron mobile threat net is just one piece of software we use to track storms.  Here is a close up of a screen showing us heading west into the storm. Here is the film crew from Indigo films.  A great bunch of guys who were a blast to chase with!

I had Patrick Martin take this picture.  With the storm in the background and my tornado tattoo.  Thanks Patrick!! Another shot here by Patrick.  We punched a HUGE lightning storm and had to stop and take pictures.  Great shot! Again, here I am trying to explain storms to the Indigo film crew.  This never made it to air, but it was fun to be in front of the camera!  Thanks to Samantha for this picture!

With Patrick driving, I am in the passenger seat pouring over data.  As you can see we are using the Baron system and we are headed west into the tornado warned storm! (the red block indicates a tornado warned county while yellow would indicate severe thunderstorm.  Sam, thanks again for the picture!! Ah yes... the problematic CB radio!  Here Patrick and I are trying to frantically reestablish radio communications between vans as it is crucial.  We ended up fixing the issue.  Picture credit goes to Samantha again! Our last day chasing, we found ourselves in New Mexico.  Although we did not get to see any tornado, we got a beautiful treat!  A double rainbow!!  We drove back to Denver, CO later that night with a 3 am arrival time!  OY!!!
